EFT Tapping the Lords Prayer
Someone asked me recently about using EFT tapping with prayer. Yes, you can combine EFT tapping with any intent, and isn’t that what prayer is about, setting intention? There are so many wonderful prayers known these days, and one of the most popular and powerful is the Lords Prayer.
EFT tapping is simply tapping with the fingertips lightly on 20 different meridian points on the face, torso and hands. Each meridian point relates to a different organ or system in the body. These meridians are like electrical pathways, and by tapping you stimulate that energy so that it can flow or release. In the EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) method you combine tapping with a statement, and as you tap through each of the meridian points your subconscious is in a sense stimulated and refreshed.
Tapping the Lords Prayer give the prayer itself an extra “charge”, making it a healing experience on many levels. There doesn’t need to be any specific order of tapping either, in fact I like to mix it up just to see how it feels so I can bring even more awareness into the meaning of the words and the effect that speaking out this prayer has on my feelings and attitude.
