Healing Drum Retreat – What Are You Doing This Summer?
What are you doing this summer? Well many of us from the Healing Drum Retreat have gone to Unity Works earlier in the spring and made necklaces that are going to The Macah Nation for canoe journey giveaways. We did this as a service project and for a reason to get together between healing drums. we become like family. one of our last guests said it felt like coming home and now no longer a guest is family seems like that’s how it works.
Kaye Tahwakeena oops that’s me will be delivering the necklaces and volunteering at Canoe Journey 2010 , where I am sure i will learn more to bring back to The Healing drum retreat, weather it will be an art project or a healing technique or a story from a storyteller you will have to come and find out…. and then you will have a story about what you did this summer you went to Healing Drum Retreat – August 13, 14, 15 in Winlock Washington.
We’ll be talking about giving, and gifting, two very different things. We’ll be drumming, singing, and dancing – exploring release and harmony through sound and movement. The food will be great, the connection with the group even better! What do we hear more and more these days? “It feels like I’m finally home”.
