Healing Drum Retreat August 2010
Are you ready for the next Healing Drum Retreat? We’ll be back at the Hope Grange in Winlock, Washington, making this retreat an easy drive for our Portland and Oregon attendee’s, but we’re still within a close driving distance for Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, and other nearby attendee’s.
Hope Grange offers us a large room for meals and crafting, and anyone who’s been to the Healing Drum Retreat will agree that we always have fun and enriching crafting projects. We weave these hands-on activities between guided meditations and drumming circles, giving you the opportunity to shift out of the monkey-mind consciousness that’s so predominant these days!
The Grange also has a large meeting room, which means we have lots of room for our drumming circles. We have two big drums, and many attendee’s bring their own drums. Oh, did I mention the Friday evening Drum Making Class? Yes indeed, this is a great opportunity to make your own drum in the spirit of honor, and most of the time you will be playing your drum over the weekend, depending on the hide you choose.
Our hosts at the Hope Grange are gracious enough to offer us our campfire time at their private covered fire pit. What do we do during that time? Story telling, drumming and singing, and energy healing sessions.
The Healing Drum Retreat is taught by intuitive and energy healer Estee Taschereau, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in spiritual counseling and teaching; and Kaye Tahwakeena, drum making teacher extraordinaire, and Quantum Touch energy healer.
The Healing Drum Retreat is August 12, 13, 14. We start Friday evening with the drum making class (drum kit extra, but Healing Drum Retreat attendee’s are welcome to watch and socialize during drum making class). All day Saturday and Sunday we will explore our higher consciousness, practice techniques for shifting our attention and releasing energy burdens, drum and sing, and create something truly amazing! Meals are included, and camping style lodging (you can bring your sleeping bag and mat and sleep in the grange, or bring your tent or rv and camp on the grounds). Meals, camping, crafting, and an amazing healing and educational weekend for only $175!!
