Healing Drum Retreat

The Healing Drum Retreat shares in its name one of the many offerings of this weekend event.  Drum circles!

We have two big drums, some call them pow wow drums, or group drums.  These drums hold strong voices, resonant tones.  Each drum can carry six drummers, and others can use hand drums if they prefer to stand or move about.

We begin each drumming circle with a blessing, setting the tone for a healing enriching time for all attending.  Instruction is shared to make it more than just a ceremony, it is a time for learning and growing as well!

You do not have to be an experienced drummer to attend the Healing Drum Retreat.  This event is open to all energetically enthusiastic individual, and those who seek to raise their energy to a vibration that is healing and nourishing.

The drum is the greatest vibrational representative we have, isn’t it?  Drums have been used throughout history for communication across great distances, in ceremony, as a healing tool (hence the Healing Drum Retreat!), and as a meditative tool as well.  The rich tones and repetitive pattern can assist you in shifting from the over-active chatter of the mind and lead you into a more flowing state of mind.

Where is the retreat?  Roy, Washington, with a beautiful view of Mt Rainier.  This is only an hour or less from Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma, Olympia, Chehalis, and only a couple hours from Portland, Oregon and Yakima, WA.
