Being At Home For Yourself
Most of us on an everyday bases have thoughts that go millions of places. Did we feed the cat? What about that guy that cut us off in traffic? What about that thing someone said 20 years ago, or the article in the paper that stuck in our head. All those strings and threads pull us in all sorts of directions.
When you stop and think about the past, how much could you really change, and if you could, would you? Through those trials and tribulations you found who you are right now. You’ve acquired an understanding of yourself and the people around you. If we like it, fine, if we don’t then we have to look at and ask why. What is it that you truly want to change in you. Ten years from now will it really matter? If someone told you that you were going to die tomorrow, would that change your goals?
I had the most incredible experience. In 1989 I was told I had two years to live. I thought about that for a while, and bought into it for a few weeks. There were things I had to make right, and in those things I thought I had to make right I also had to do a lot of soul searching. I kept thinking, “I can’t get it all done in two years!” My priorities changed, and instead of looking at what was right in front of me, or getting lost in my anger, I had to see things differently. I had to weight things out. Is it worth my energy to spend myself on someone yelling at me, or some other little thing.
I’m still here, yup, and believe me this is not just “the voice of Kaye being channelled”. I’m alive, and I’m living. The real me came out . Being at home for yourself is an option and a blessing.
Let’s talk about this next weekend at the Healing Drum Retreat. We’ll gather together and talk relationships and being at home for yourself. There is still time to sign up but please do not wait. Stop spinning in the energy, sign up and change your life now.
