Where is the Sept 2009 Healing Drum Retreat?
Our previous retreats have been in Yelm, Washington. We’re now taking the Healing Drum Retreat in a different direction. This upcoming retreat, September 18-20th, 2009 will be at Hope Grange in Winlock, Washington.
This new location brings us within minutes of the Cowlitz Powwow, which we will be visiting as a group. This new location also makes the Healing Drum Retreat more accessible to Portland residence!
To get to the Grange take I-5 south from Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia or Chehalis, and take exit 68, turning right onto Avery Rd W. From I-5 north (Portland) take exit 68, turning left and crossing over the freeway.
Go past Military road, following Avery Rd W. to Hwy 603 (next major intersection), turning LEFT. Follow 603 to Antrim Rd and turn LEFT onto Antrim. The grange is only a few doors down.

If you register and pay for the Healing Drum Retreat by September 10th we will discount your attendance to $125. Wow!! This includes all activities, materials (except the drum making class) and meals Saturday and Sunday (through lunch).
Those with cots or mats are welcome to stay in the Grange, both Kaye and Estee will be staying on-site. We will have separate rooms for men and women. Bring your sleeping mats and sleeping bag, and personal items. Or you can stay in nearby Chehalis at one of the many motels. Option 3: if you have an RV there is space at the grange to park, but no hookups are available.
