Have You Noticed The Shift?
This last week was packed with several interesting events. Yesterday we had the anniversary of the 9/11 disaster, and many gathered to honor and pray for those who were affected by that tragic event. Earlier in the week we experienced a shift with the date September 9, 2009, or 9/9/09.
For those who know about astrology this day has in Mercury is retrograde in Libra. I’m not highly versed in astrology, but I do know that I have seen many warnings not to make big decisions or start new projects when Mercury is in retrograde. Earlier in the week I would have agreed with this advise. Many felt great upheaval within themselves prior to 9/9/2009. The common voice was a strong emotional surge and a feeling of losing faith in self. This all-too-common experience was echoed by most everyone on the tele-conference call “Power of Group Intent” that I host on Tuesday evenings (contact me if you are interested in joining in this call).
You remember the feelings you had in childhood as you prepared for a new school year, especially when it meant moving to a new school? There may have been a feeling of anxiousness, even a little fear. During that time you took the old experiences and conclusions out of your memory storage and tried to fit those assessments into the new yet-to-come world. They fit, but they didn’t, and you had to decide what to carry forward, and what to leave behind. Isn’t that a reoccurring theme in life?
Many of us took a long awaited deep breath on 9/9/2009. Many of those challenging feelings subsided. Some were able to move forward on their projects. I know I had been keeping my creativity at check, and with the shift in energies, which for me took place the day earlier in preparation for guiding others in my teleconfernce, I was able to write in one day’s time a book that had been forming in my higher consciousness for some time. It felt good to get it out in the open!
