Healing Drum Retreat

The big drum making party happened on Saturday May 30th, 2009, and was a wonderfully fun and interesting experience. Kaye calls it, “a success”. We started the afternoon with a healing session that was a combination of long-distance remote healing for the sister of one of our attendee’s. This healing was also a great release and transition for the woman requesting a healing for her sister.

Kaye shares, “It turned into a group healing as well, as Estee and I lead the group through a release process, so everyone had benefit”. Later that day, after the event this person called to share her success story. “My sister changed her patterns today, even though she didn’t know that we sent her support and love, and I feel better as well”.

This healing session helped set the tone for the day, one of love, support and release. This energy is now built into the drum itself, for we all played a part in the building of the big drum. These energies carried throughout the drum making and into our drumming circle to close the day. Aho!

We are all looking forward to hearing the big drum at the next Healing Drum Retreat. Our ceremony will start with a blessing for this new drum, and those attending the retreat will have opportunity to play both the new drum and Kaye’s big drum throughout the weekend.
