What’s this Drum Making Party all about?
It feels like we’re only minutes away from the Drum Making Party on Saturday May 30, 2009. What all will be happening at this event?
- First off, we’ll be making a really big drum. This group drum will be a two-sided buffalo drum, with leather lacing.
- We’ll sing a few songs, and have some drum circle drumming session.
- There will be a few drum finished drums for sale, as well as some other native crafts.
- The restaurant hosting us will have many great foods you can order, and as a regular customer I can tell you, this place is rocking! I love their chicken alfredo pizza!!
- You can ask your questions about the Healing Drum Retreat in June, and meet some of the people who have attended previous events.
- We will have an energy healing demonstration as well.
- Did we mention party? Yes, this event is a fun, social time!
- We have kits available for those who want to make their drum now but cannot attend the healing drum retreat. Individual drum making will start at noon.
- Donations will be accepted for the Healing Drum Retreat scholarship.
Join us at 402 1st Street in Winlock, exit 63 from I-5, travel westbound to Winlock, pass the IGA and turn right at the flashing light (1st Street). We look forward to seeing you!!
