Weaving the Dream of Tomorrow
When we reach into the magical hat of all possibilities, we are really trying to catch a dream. What exactly are we looking for? The future, the now, or one of those lingering moments from the past that’s come back to repeat itself?
Dream-catchers are designed to keep at bay those things that distract us or keep us in a negative space. But we can look at the dream-catcher in a different light.
When we look at the web within the dream-catcher we could be looking at the web of energetic connections we have to so many people or the web within our life. Who’s thoughts are we really thinking? What are we picking up, is it our own idea or some global thought?
At the March Healing Drum Retreat we talked about the web and quantum physics. Where are we going when we weave the dream for tomorrow? Are we heading toward a new creation, an old idea re-spun, or something that lands somewhere in-between?
Sometimes we dream carelessly and playfully. When we sleep we carry those creations, our dreams, into the night. Our higher self sees these dreams, and listens. Have you ever woken up feeling like you’ve been hard at work? Maybe you have!
What exactly are you using to build your dreams? If we can hold our dreams in a focused and well thought-out way a dream becomes clearer. The more clarity we have in our dream the more our world, our higher self, and our spiritual guidance can listen to and hold our vision. Then it easier it is to invite others to join us in that dream. Are we weaving the dream of tomorrow in our highest light?
Join us for the next Healing Drum Retreat June 19-21, 2009.
