The Real Definition of “Networking”
We had so much fun at the last Healing Drum Retreat! It was like a breath of fresh air, combining a few new concepts with awareness and focus. What happens when we turn our focus inward, what do we see? Usually its the stuff that coats us on the outside, the heaviness that we carry throughout our day. What better way to deal with the heavier energies of life than to bring in a little play and laughter!
How did we bring in the lightness of being? Through quantum physics. Kaye shared her insights and years of learning in quantum touch and spirituality. Our communication, whether conscious or not can reflect our spiritual nature, full of vibrance and light. We all smiled and laughed as we tossed the colorful streamer around the room, connecting to one another, and then we lifted this web high above our heads to see that connectivity in a new light.
This exercise, as well as the many others, gave us a chance to explore our spiritual ideas in a more grounded physical way. We think of it as child-like, for who knows more about learning and playfulness than our inner child.
We’ll expand upon this concept at the next Healing Drum Retreat in June 2009, and yes, we’ll bring the streamers!! Are we ready to play?
