Healing Drum June 2009
Just like the tone of the beating drum, the resounding tone at the March 2009 Healing Drum Retreat was a feeling of joy. Each person walked away with their own unique experience, but each walked away with a bright smile, and a few even said, “I’m full”.

Some attendees have asked for flyers for the next retreat, fast approaching, and those flyers should be available tomorrow. We are looking forward to this summer time retreat June 19-21, 2009. Activities will range from fun release oriented activities to spiritual native crafting. Let’s not forget the campfire!
The spiritual tone melded well with the activities, and each participant was offered an opportunity to receive an energy healing with Kaye or reading session with Estee. Everyone learned techniques in energy healing as well and had several opportunities to practice these new skills.
Over the next two months we will be posting about the planned events. We will note that while we do adhere to some planned topics, we are very open to the flow of the event and the tone of those attending.
One thing we plan to repeat is the fabulous vegetarian dinner on Friday Evening prior to the Drum Making class. Wow! Not one person thought that anything was missing, and we had plenty of energy to make drums and interact. The evening continued on gracefully with this social, friendly workshop, and we finally closed the cafeteria and social area around midnight.
More articles will be posted, and we invite past attendee’s to join in, send their stories, give feedback, and offer suggestions for our next event. Many return to the next Healing Drum Retreat.
