Intention or Attention?
What is our intention? When we ask that of an acorn it’s intention is to grow into a mighty oak. It knows its path and destiny. Where we, thinking of ourselves, believe we are individuals and separate. We have our own ideas of what our path or destination might be. But I believe in we as “one”, that our intention is to be once again at one with spirit, where we are the creators of our destiny.
In that destiny we are like the threads of a web: connected, separate, yet co-dependent on the other threads for support and definition. The web without the interwoven quality would only be a string. Where we interlock, come together, we exchange. It empowers us, strengthens us, but it also empowers and strengthens the whole.
In our day to day life our attention is usually on what we perceive to be the world around us. Where we place our attention is where we place our energy, outside of our perception of self. But when we step back, take the time to put our attention into alignment with our own heartbeat, our own path, we can walk with intention rather than reaction.
If you can get to that point where your attention and intention are facing the same direction it is easier to be in flow rather than struggle and strife. We came with a plan, and we are no less gifted than that acorn. We all have a plan, and a destiny, and everything has its own direction. Are you in flow with your intention, and is your attention intently placed?
“Through intention that is clear this chaotic world can reveal itself to be a beautiful place.”
