Healing Drum Retreat

Some come become they want to heal themselves. Others come because they want to learn self-healing techniques. There is the fellowship and safe space offered by spending time with others who want to know, learn and grow.

“ I know when I put my hand on someone who’s not feeling well that soon they feel better”. Many learn more about their own self-healing abilities, and learn tools and techniques that help them maintain their own energy when working with others.

Individual growth means growth for humanity. Some attend because they want to help make the world a better place. Our meditations and guided discussions are focused on global awareness and acceptance of both our similarities and our differences.

There are those who come for the music. Drumming is very healing and stimulating. There is the resonant tone. Drumming is an ancient method of communication, with the sound carrying far across the land. During the healing drum we use a large ceremonial drum, and attendee’s bring their own drums as well to use during our drumming time. Kaye leads us in native songs and songs created through prior healing drum retreats. One participant said, “Kaye has the voice of an angel”.

“It’s a wonderful group of people”, stated Larry, following the September 2008 retreat. Each attendee gained insights and understanding of their own journey. Another participant said, “This has been an amazing weekend, I’ve really come to an understanding of who I am and the events in my life”.
