Moccasin Making Workshop Friday Sept 19, 2008
We’re very excited to offer a moccasin making class on Friday evening to help kick-off the Fall Solstice Healing Drum event. Amanda from the Trading Post will lead this workshop, providing patterns, materials and instruction. A skilled moccasin maker, we welcome her expertise and her presence! The Trading Post is just down the road from Brighton Creek Conference Center, and they carry all the supplies you need for drum making, moccasin making, and more!
The Moccasin Workshop will run concurrently with the Drum Making class, taught again by our wonderful co-coordinator and founder of the Healing Drum event. This means that during your lag time you can visit, watch the other class, and overall have a great time!
Both classes require preregistration. Please contact Kaye Tahwakeena at 360-785-4879 to confirm pricing and availability of kit’s for drums. The moccasin making class requires a minimum of six students, else that class will be canceled. If you are just finding out about this event at the last minute please call, we may have extra supplies available.
